Award winning architecture firm Aude, Shand & Williams AIA has been selected for the design and Engineering of the Banyans project.

The Principal in charge of managing the Banyans project is Arthur C. Shand. Mr. Shands background includes, Kansas State University College of Architecture, 5 year Bachelor of Interior Architecture, 8 years experience in general contracting (all construction types). Active, Professional Member I.I.D.A, A.S.I.D., N.R.C.A. and C.S.I. 20 years Project Manager, Standard Building Code Congress Certified Building Inspector and Structural Masonry and Concrete Inspector and Associate Member A.I.A. Maintains experience and expertise in building construction forensic pathology, diagnostics and intervention, exterior reconstruction and waterproofing. Mr. Shand has been accepted by the Circuit Court of Pinellas County as an expert in building construction knowledge and has served expert testimony relating to construction degradation, and building construction failure. NCIDQ Certified and holds Florida License of Interior Design, Corporate Administrator, Designer and Construction Administrator.

Mr. Shand has been Named The Mac Norcross Business Person of the Year in 2004 by the Largo Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce and is the President-Elect for Leadership Pinellas 2005-2006. He is a graduate of Leadership Pinellas, Leadership Tampa Bay and Leadership St Pete.

Community service has involved him as a member of the Executive Committee, Buildings and Grounds Committee, Chairman of the Construction Over site Committee and a Member of the Board of Directors to the YMCA of the Sun Coast, Past Member Largo Medical Hospital Foundation Board.
